HEART OF TEXAS SERTOMA CLUB'S FIRST SCHOLARSHIP PRESENTATION
On September 4, 2009, Pete Moffat on behalf of the Heart of Texas Sertoma Club presented Mr.Thomas Miller with a $500.00 scholarship. This was the very first scholarship presented by the club. Mr. Miller is hearing impaired. He is a junior at Baylor University working on his BBA with a specialization in Distribution Management. He is due to graduate in May, 2011 and has been on the Dean's List every semester. He is also an Eagle Scout and a National Merit Commended Scholar. The Heart of Texas Sertoma Club is very proud to present their first scholarship to such a deserving young man.
HEARING AID RECIPIENTS
Shown below are a few of the children Sertoma has provided with hearing aids through the S.H.A.R.P. hearing aid recycling program in cooperation with Dr. Carrie Caviness at the Baylor University Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic. Every
we find new children to give the gift of hearing to. What a blessing it is to see their
faces light up when they put on their new hearing aids.
